2) Late Feb 2011 – Mar 2011
I entered a contest called the GLAMmy Award. The contest was in honor of Adam’s Grammy nomination. Contestants were asked to create a custom 3D award in the spirit of the Grammy Award statue and posted photographs of their creation. My entry took a runner up position and I qualified for a prize.
3) April 2011
Ground(ctrl) tries to facilitate the awarding of the prize for the GLAMmy contest ( which is a twitter chat with Adam) but the event is cancelled an hour before it takes place on April 1, 2011 with the promise of being rescheduled. To this date, no prize or substitute prize has been awarded.
4) Feb – May 2011
I enter another creative contest called Show Us Your Charity Water which required members to either restyle the Charity Water t-shirt, or take a picture of yourself in the t-shirt and post it as an official entry. Entrants must be members and in possession of the exact t-shirt being sold by ground(ctrl). This contest was in honor of Adam’s 29th birthday partnership with Charity Water.
5) May 2011
My t-shirt design wins first place in the restyling category. The first place prize in both categories is a pair of VIP upgrade Meet & Greets with Adam for his next tour.

I try to make contact regarding the awarding of both these prizes and only get one response ( Dec 2012) from ground(ctrl) that states they must look into it. ( My email contact dates are: March 10, 2012, Sept 5 2012,- Dec 6, 2012, Jan. 12, 2013, and March 2 – 10, 2014)

Adam does not have an official tour for his 2012 album ‘Trespassing’ and clarifies it on twitter

Prior to… and in anticipation of the NEW tour announcement, I contact ground(ctrl) about awarding my prize by submitting a support ticket outside of the fanclub email contact. My ticket is acknowledged and assigned a number, but I receive no response.

I phone ground(ctrl) and spead with customer support representative John. He says to submit a 2nd ticket as the first one has been lost.
11) March 10 2014 – 10am
I purchase a ticket to the concert in Columbia, MD during the fan club presale event using the ‘code’ issued by adamlambertfans.com. The meet and greet is conditional upon having a ticket to the concert.

ground(ctrl) responds to my ticket and says the prize is no longer available because too much time has passed and ground(ctrl) offers to send a signed Adam picture post card, 6 months extended fan club membership, and 250 points to my membership account. Value of this prize offering is less than $30. The 2011 value of 2 VIP meet and greet upgrades is $175 x 2 = $350. The value of 2 meet and greet VIPs today is not known.

I phone ground(ctrl) support and ask them if they are serious? I spoke with customer service representative Alex. I also ask for the contact names of those in management so that I may address them personally. Alex refuses to give me any names of management. I proceed to document the online history of my communications and contest pages on the adamlambertfans.com site using screen capture software. As I am doing this, ground(ctrl) begins removing the contest pages from their site and those pages that were available minutes before are now calling 404 not found errors.

I follow up this conversation with Alex (through their email support system) with a written decline of the substitute prize and make a demand they award the promised prize or the equivalent 2011 monetary value to satisfy the matter.

ground(ctrl) replies to my demand and refuses to award the original prize promised for the t-shirt contest or the equivalent 2011 value of two VIP meet and greets and offers the low value substitute items again.
